Times I-City (TIC) is a million-square-meter city complex created by Times China on the Central Axis of Qiandenghu Lake, integrating industry, city, human and culture.
The Central Axis of Qiandenghu Lake, 12.8 kilometers in length, will consist of four functional areas for finance, culture, entrepreneurship, exhibition and trade. The functional area, represented by TIC, will cover land area of 3,000 mu (1 mu = ~666.667 square meters) and have roughly 5 million square meters of floor space, thus constituting a total investment in excess of RMB 30 billion. It will be a modern community with diverse urban functions; an ideal place for the young-at-heart to enjoy productive work and a joyful lifestyle in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The functional area will be constructed by three phases, wherein Times China takes charge of Phase I, known as TIC.
TIC, with a total land area of 634 mu, covers four major functions, namely, industry, residence, education and ecology. For industry, an area of approximately 300,000 square meters will construct an innovation industry center and a commercial district to breathe new life into Foshan. For residential needs, approximately 5,300 high-end apartments will be built. The rich product array can satisfy the needs of all life stages. For education, the project covers two kindergartens, a 30-class primary school and a 24-class middle school. In fact, the entire K12 school system is covered within 500 meters. With respect to ecology, a circular green path of approximately two kilometers and a 1,200-meter central landscape axis will be built. Moreover, residents will find three theme parks at intervals of 200 meters.
The TIC complex and its glorious parklands will be an aesthetic masterpiece of Times at Qiandenghu Lake.
