Spring is the season for cherry-blossom viewing. In order to enjoy the blooming spring before it ends, Times Korea Town · Yuanjing partnered with catering businesses in the region to hold a three-day food festival featuring cherry blossoms from April 26 to 28, and a pink spring scene are brought to Yuanjing Road.

The food festival was held amid a grove pink artificial cherry-blossom trees, and even the business stalls were decorated with cherry-blossom elements. Thus, the little plaza was transformed into an ocean of pleasant pink color.

A version of Tik Tok's hit game, called "Challenge for Ten Seconds," was also played at the festival. It tested the players' quick-response ability. To win a prize, the player had to stop the timer between the ninth and tenth second marks on the timer.

Food was, of course, the star of the event. A wide variety of restaurants, including Ma Tin Club, Pinewood Grilled Meat, Warm Tea, Little Fresh Grilled Meat with Yanbian Korean Cuisine and Xiao Tian Soy Milk, presented their specialties as free samples for the diners. Throughout the activity, the aroma of foods wafted down Yuanjing Road, drawing crowds of eager foodies.

Yuanjing Road bustled with activity all through the festival. Abundant with luscious food, interesting games and prizes, it brought sunshine to a rainy weekend.
